This course is suitable for beginners or servers that are interested in increasing tips by having the knowledge necessary to recommend and serve wines in a professional manner. It contains additional specific information about wines that isn't included in our 40-hour online bartender mixology class.
This course is rated at 10 hours.
In this course, you will learn, among other things:
- Detailed information about the different varieties and types of wine
- Which wines are best paired with entrees, appetizers, and desserts
- How to present and discuss wines with your customers
- How to correctly serve, pour, chill, and present wine to customers

Traditional bartending academies will provide some basic information on wine drinks and making wine coolers from scratch, but the PSCC online wine knowledge course also provides detailed information.
This course makes an excellent addition to our online Bartender mixology course. You could also consider upgrading to be a Master Bartender and learn about liquor, gain access to more in-depth alcohol knowledge, and learn more about getting better tips with your certifications.
